HOMEWORK:

For tonight we will have only math homework! Enjoy it while you can.

Math: Workbook page 1 #12-27. Be prepared to go over answers at the start of class.

We had a great time starting our first writing project today. The students loved decorating the journals that we will use as writing notebooks. Have a great night. Remember tomorrow is Friday.

The First Day

This afternoon the fifth grade got settled into our classroom. Thank you for all the new school supplies. Please be aware that the new computer teacher wants your child to have a memory stick for class. Though this will primarily be used for computer class, it will also be used for general studies.

Tomorrow we will begin decorating our writer's notebooks. Don't forget to bring some personal items to use on the cover, pictures, stickers, etc., whatever you like.

If you have any more summer reading projects, please bring them in asap!
