GIRLS: Please complete review questions 1-5 on page C77 in your science text.

MATH: finish page 12 in your workbook if it was not completed in class.

READING: "Sign of the Beaver" Chapter 25 and complete the story elements page. Please be aware that we will be turning in all copies of "Sign of the Beaver" If your child was given multiple copies, I will expect them all back. Good hunting.

WRITING: Please stick to your deadlines for publishing.

FOR MRS. KAY:

1. Read and translate Pesukim 15 and 16, also Rashi in 15 (2).

2. Test on third Mishne in Pirkei Arot tomorrow.

Monday News

Welcome back. We worked on finishing our science unit on rocks and minerals today. Boys have homework to finish, girls will have the same work tomorrow.

HOMEWORK:

BOYS: Science workbook page 179

MATH: 2 Worksheets, 1 is multiplication facts and the other is practice for decimal ordering.

READING: Please read the short story "Retired" by Cynthia Rylant and be prepared to discuss it tomorrow.

For Judaic Studies:

1) Begin review for a Mishna test on Pirkei Arot "Kol Yisroel" Mishna Aleph and Mishna Bet. The test is Wednesday 9/19.
2) Review Chumash, Pasukim Yud Aleph (11) and Yud Bet (12) and the Rashis.

Terrific Tuesday

Today the girls had their turn at our science experiement. They also have science homework to complete.

We had student elections today. Results should be in on Monday. All the candidates made wonderful speeches and showed great leadership ability by running smart campaigns. HOMEWORK:

MATH: Chapter 1 test. Your student should have brought home a practice test along with papers from the last chapter. These can all be used for studying. Good luck tomorrow!

READING: Read chapter 9 in "Sign of the Beaver" and make a text to text connection using the worksheet. The connection will probably be an overall kind of idea and can be a connection from any part of the book, not just tonight's reading.
